Zinnias are easy to grow from seed and are perfect for creating your own bouquets. They can be sown indoors in the spring or sown directly after the last frost. Be careful that the weather has warmed before sowing outdoors as they will not survive a cold spell. Sow around Iom into the soil and pinch out 3 weeks after planting. They are half hardy annuals and prefer to be planted in a sunny spot. Allow a space of around 25cm between plants and expect them to grow to /5cm, They will produce red, orange, yellow, pink, purple, and white flowers from mid summer through to early autumn.
